Composting in the Classroom

This year fifth graders will continue composting in the classroom.

How can you help?
If you have vegetable and fruit waste at your home, please send it to school with your child.
This includes: vegetable peels, apple cores, guacamole pits, grape stems, and any inedible or rotten parts of fruits and vegetables.
You can send this to school with your child in plastic bags or ziploc containers that they will return to you.

We will be having a special composting visitor helping out the fifth grade this Thursday so send your child to school with any questions that you have.

Thank you for your support in helping us GO GREEN!
